Dance Troupe Night

Colourful costumes, beautiful smiling faces and amazing dancing describes the fun evening that parents, grandparents and friends enjoyed at the Troupe Showcase which was held in the PAC. These students are part of the OneMaker 2017 competition teams and they are ready to perform at both Eisteddfods and the Sydney Opera House.

The evening commenced with a pot-luck dinner and a very big thank you to the many parents who provided delicious food. The parents who participated on the first Bali Dance Mission Team that was held in the April holidays decorated the PAC and the Studio with tree lights, candles and photos.

Under the direction of Miss Ashley, who is in charge of Dance at OneMaker and her teachers Miss Claire and Miss Jeweles the students performed dances that included solos, duets, trios and group work. Every performance was enthusiastically applauded by the audience who were in awe of the student’s precision timing, acrobatic accomplishments, facial expressions and the joy of dance that was evident on each performer’s face.

The students received new OneMaker Dance jackets with their embroided name. These will be worn when the students dance at Eisteddfods and special events. The new jacket along with their Dance Bags and T Shirts make them recognisable as the OneMaker Dance Studio.

A wonderful evening, exhibiting our student’s skills and talents was experienced by all who attended. We look forward to the end of Year Dance Performance Showcase.
